The hood (bonnet) covers the front motor bay or frunk on BYD electric vehicles, protecting high-voltage electrical components from weather and intrusion while contributing to the vehicle's frontal aerodynamics. This category includes complete hood panel assemblies, left and right hood hinges, gas spring struts, hood lock assemblies, locking rings, opening cable assemblies, opening handles, and lock brackets for BYD Atto 3, Dolphin, Sealion 7, and Denza D9. Stamped OEM hoods include pre-drilled insulator stud positions and weatherstrip channels; replacement panels should preserve these features for a rattle-free, water-tight fit and clean shut-line alignment.
