Shock absorbers (dampers) control spring oscillation after road inputs, maintaining consistent tyre contact and ride comfort. BYD's EV-specific dampers are tuned for the additional weight imposed by the underfloor battery pack, and Denza D9 models feature electronically controlled shock absorbers with adaptive damping. This category includes front and rear shock absorber strut assemblies, damper assemblies, spring buffer pads, dust covers, suspension bushings, and electronically controlled units for BYD Atto 3, Dolphin, Sealion 7, and Denza D9. Replacement shock absorbers should match the original valving rate and damping curve to preserve handling balance and regenerative braking stability.
